I spent a good deal of development on upgrading an older project to a new software platform using the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) and SureDotOCR. The results are amazing! The application is High Speed OCR for a packaging for a Fortune 500 manufacturer of snack products. Inspection rates as high as 2500 parts per minute (ppm) were achievable with our chosen hardware though typical speeds were closer to 1200 ppm. Check it out!
